Free food distribution to needy

A Hot Meal

In partnership between the Prince George’s County Department of Social Services and the Capital Area Food BankMission: Nutrition – free food will be available at the following locations to residents of Prince George’s County who are experiencing economic hardhsip. One distribution per household. Bring your own bags. For more information, call Gloria Brown at 301-909-7077.

  1. 17 October – 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. – Temple Hills – Iverson Mall, in front of Burlington Coat Factory
  2. 18 October – 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Brandywine – Gwynn Park High School; Dyson Road parking lot
  3. 21 November - 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. – Temple Hills – Iverson Mall, in front of Burlington Coat Factory

Elizabeth House urgently needs volunteers

The Food Pantry at Elizabeth House will be receiving two large food donations on October 8 and 9. Volunteers are needed to help transfer food from delivery vehicles to Pantry shelves.
