Les Miserables at Laurel Mill Playhouse

Monday, August 8th, 2011

Currently running at Laurel, Maryland’s own live theater – Laurel Mill Playhouse – presents it’s last performance of Les Miserables-School Edition on 21 August. According to the announcement we heard Saturday evening [6 August], the last performance is already sold out and two Thursday evening performances have been added to handle the demand for tickets. Attend one of these spirited performances and you will see why! If you haven’t seen the show, reserve your tickets now. The VERY talented young people did a wonderful job. My husband, two of our neighbors and I attended the Saturday performance. The cast has mature, well-trained, beautiful voices and if anyone missed a cue, it didn’t show. The emotion and energy that they projected – particularly at the end of Act I and during the Epilog – were so powerful as to be physical. Left us breathless. A gem not to be missed!
