Shortly after my last post in November 2011, I became the webmaster for FISH of Laurel, Inc. – an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) charitable organization that manages the soup kitchen and food pantry at Elizabeth House in Laurel, MD. At the January 11, 2012 Board of Trustees meeting, I was elected President of the Board. Needless to say, my hands are very full with the day-to-day obligations that keep Elizabeth House functioning. The time I once devoted to my own web site and the community I served is now being channeled into FISH. Although I miss serving my community via my web site, I am fortunate to be working even closer with the folks in my community who need our services.
